first take of the cover if you have one it will be round or a sideways H, take out the bolts that are holding the horn on, then take the bolts out that are holding the steering wheel in place.
My student driver had been holding the steering wheel to it's maximum left and right position frequently over 30 minutes while practicing parallel parking in a small lot. The power steering system clearly did not like this. After cool down, it works normally.
PROPERLY remove air bag (if equipt), then remove nut holding steering wheel on and then use a steering wheel puller to remove it.
Disconnect battery. Remove air bag. Remove bolt holding steering wheel to column. Use a steering wheel puller to remove wheel from column.

need a puller to remove the power steering pump pulley, then remove the bolts holding the pump on
pull the abs fuse. then using a torx bit, losen the for torx heads holding the bag from behind the steering wheel, that's it.
