diaphragm gone in breather. front right as you look at the engine. Porsche only sell complete cam cover. looked every where for diaphragm, no joy
The squealing a scraping is most likely the idle pulley. i would replace that and the belt then see what happens
you need to replace your belts. Take it to AutoZone to have them look at it
Check for a vacuum leak around the throtle body and intake manifold.
Probably a worn or loose belt
loose alternator belt or loose power steering belt There is a possibility that the squealing sound in your car could either be the water pump is starting to go bad. Have this checked out at your local service center or a very well known garage mechanic will tell you possibly the same thing, Good luck.
An icv is an idle control valve. It controls the idle of the car (without the accelerator pedal depressed).
It's going to be your radiator fan clutch. Mine was squealing for a while until finally it turned into clanging. It was pretty bad. I'm in the process now of replacing mine. That should be your next step.
-check the engine belt there's probably a bit to much friction. try with some belt dressing to see if it stops the squealing its about 5 bucks
Let it idle for over one minute in Park without a/c on. Let it idle for over one minute in Drive with brake pedal depressed. Let it idle for over one minute in Drive with brakes pedal depressed and a/c on.
The I in idle is a long I vowel sound, and the -le has a schwa sound (eyed-ul).
I suspect a bad harmonic balancer. Sloppy and making noise at idle belts squealing while under load. If vehicle has an serpentine belt system could be the idler pulley.
because all vehicles have an idle. Without an idle your car would not stay running.
