needs a tune up. maybe new spark plugs and wires would help
Took it to a car dealership and they found that the spark plug needed to be replaced. It is fine now.
There are jerks on every site. Most of them find it amusing to be jerks. That will work fine until they grow up and find that no one wants to be around a jerk except other jerks. That is their reward.
change left side windo
If it jerks then dies, it could be the lockup torque converter is stuck and whenever you put it in drive it's "direct drive" without the advantage of a torque converter. That only applies if the engine is running well and there are no other symptoms. As always, check for a computer diagnostic code using a code scanner.
Change the fuel filter.
If the check engine light comes on it is best to take it to a auto part store or mechanic for a diagnosis. They will be able to inform the owner what the issues is.
get a 1966 one there better!
Plugged fuel filter?Bad fuel pump?
Having your lights on might slightly lower your rpm, and bring out the vibration you noticed. If you have a tach you can see if it only happens at a particular rpm. If the engine runs fine then perhaps your motor mounts are worn.
Possibly a defective torque converter lock-up solenoid. Disconnect the solenoid and see if that cures the problem. If so replace the solenoid.
Give me more info and i can get better answer, mine stalled but i just rev the engine a few times and than it worked fine. And make sure that if its a standard that you have it out of gear when you release the clutch, and if its not that than check your throttle positioning sensor, just get me more info and ill get you a better answer
try checking that there is no moisture build up in the sparks as this will cause it to idle rough but drive fine. if u do find moisture try spraying some crc 556 or other lubricant in the spark cavity and check the spark plug gapping. if its still idling rough after that take it to a garage :-)
