Loose front end components--check ball joint tie rod ends Check to make sure pads are installed properly
The brakes may make a clicking noise if the caliper is going bad. I just changed the brakes and the rotors and discovered my car was making a clicking noise. The garage I took it to replaced the caliper, so now it doesn't make the noise anymore.
Its not your brakes making the noise. Most liklly your CV joint is warn out.
the most probable cause of clicking on rear brakes are weak return springs or a broken one.
Pull the rear wheels off and check the brakes. Something may have broken or fell apart.
possible missing anti rattle clip on brakes....had same concern on 02 front brakes
They are equipped with a "telltale" warning that shrieks when the brakes are applied, with the brake pads are too low and need replacing.
I pulled fuse on the abs system , and the noise went away. Ron
When you are driving slowly with your foot off the brakes you will hear a scraping noise. The noise will go away when you apply the brakes. What you are hearing is the wear indicators making contact with the rotor surface after the pad lining have worn down to a certain level. Not all brakes uses wear indicators. VBD
Anti-rattle clips not installed properly
