Why does my koi lay on the bottom of pondwhen i try to get it out it swimmes fastthen goes back to the bottom?

The swim bladder of the koi is deflated so the koi doesn't have an equal-librium in the water and it sinks. This happened to one of my koi and it eventually healed. If it doesn't heal within a month or two, have an expert look at it.

∙ 14y agoThere could be many reasons. Please provide some more info on the pond. ie depth, size,of pond. Qty of fish, what species and what sizes, surface cover (floating plants) if any, what other plants are there. Is the pond in the sun or shade or part shade?
