Simply replace the wiper. If that doesn't work, the wiper arm may be worn out, and doesn't have enough strength left to hold it against the window.
Had this happen on my Blazer the hose came disconnected in the tailgate and the washer fluid was emptying into the tailgate. You need to take the inside panel off to get at the hose to reconnect. Also dry your tailgate out. Needless to say I no longer use this option.
escape 01 rear wiper dosen't work
My 2003 Sienna has one tank that is for the front and rear window. You might have a problem with your pump or something else. Does your front wiper work?
Rear wiper blade will not turn but the motor will. Flip open the cap at the end of the blade, at the center of the wiper motor. Tighten the 10mm nut until you have achieved a snug fit. Test the rear wiper and it should now work. You just saved yourself a tip and money going to the dealer.
1997-2006. The rear wiper wiring may not work on all years though.
If the rear window is not fully closed the rear wiper will not operate.
R/window wiper and washer are two separate things. Washer is simply a pump that squirts fluid onto window. First, have you checked the washer fluid level? How about the fuse? When you push the washer button can you hear the pump running? If not, possible bad pump, fuse or button. If so, maybe the pump is clogged or fluid delivery tube is plugged or disconnected. Hope that helps.
there is most probably a wiring faulty
Its at the rear of the engine and a pain to work on where its wedged in.
