Well just a guess but resetting the battery also resets the computer and I 'm thinking it may have returned your body control module to it's factory setting.
A demonstration of resetting the Nissan Altima Window is available in the links.
The window is jamed, or your wires connecting your button to the window or busted.
The breaker is self resetting.
Check your manual it will tell you that these are resetting fuses and have to be checked by a dealer.
If the electic window motor in your car is draining your battery when the car is turned off, then you have more serious problems than figuring out how to disable it. I suggest you have your mechanic check the electrical system in your car. Most likely point of failure is in the switch.
Not really! Have you tried unhooking the negative battery cable? If it then works for a few minutes, it is a sensor inside the door! I am working on a bypass for this common problem! A toggle switch for the window RELAY.
There isn't one. The power windows and seat adjuster motors are on an automatically resetting circuit breaker. u sure
THERE IS NO RELAY , LOOK AT YOUR MANUAL AND YOU WILL SEE THAT IS SELF RESETTING DEALER ONLY KEITH
A New window for a BMW MINI is $800 from MINI or $200 (CHINA) from a local glass shop.
I have never seen a car with a battery for the electric window. The electric windows use the main car battery. If your electric window does not function properly, there is some other reason for it's erratic behavior. ie: intermittent short, faulty switch (my guess), faulty window motor, etc, etc.
the battery is under the window wash tank
There is no resetting it. Either your circuit won't close (could be due to a broken switch, broken or shorted wiring, a bad relay, etc.) or the window motor is toast.
