1. You have a problem with the cruise control. or 2. If your check engine light is also on, get the code read, cancel the light and the cruise indicator light will probably quit flashing and the cruise will start working again.
press control and the dash line (-) and it turns small again! :)
all you need is probly a new fuse in the fuse box.....check it and report back.
That sounds more like a mechanical problem with the cruise control cable. Check for a damaged or worn cable from the cruise control module or from the accelerator pedal. You should take the vehicle to a shop that specializes in Saturn's, and describe the problem. Don't take it on the highway again until the problem is repaired; in fact, you probably shouldn't really be driving it.
There's a knob-like switch on the right-hand side of the steering wheel (by the windshield wiper switch) that says Cruise. Start driving, and when you reach the speed you want to maintain, switch that over to Cruise and it will just hold that speed for you. Use "cancel" and/or the brakes to give yourself control again.
you have to be above 25mph. there is a button by the light dimmer that has to pressed to turn on the cruise system then move the stalk control down to set current speed. You can then increase speed by moving the control up, decrease by moving thecontrol down and disengage by pulling towards you.Moving the control up again will return you to the previously set speed providing you are over 25mph. If you cannot get the cruise to work and the light is 'on' on the master switch check that the switches on the clutch and brake (for a manual car, brake only for auto) have not moved away from there mounts on the pedal. Mine had slipped back so they did not contact the brake pedal when it was fully released. Touching the brake or clutch pedal will disengage the system.
cruise would work but if i push to accelerate it would disengage an truck only after restarting would it work again. Now it does'nt work at all. Any suggestions?
check fuse. they are all conected.
on my 1994 acclaim the buttons that activate the cruise control are on the steering wheel (Note that the cruise cannot be engaged at all if you are traveling under 60kph). there should be a button that says "set" and under it will say "Decel". there will be a button beside that one that says "resume", "accel". when you want to use cruise control you must be traveling at least 60kph and hit the "set" button, the car will then keep its speed at the speed you were going when you hit the button. if you want to accelerate or decelerate momentarily then have the cruise take over again at the speed it was set at simply hold the "accel" or "Decel" button. to disengage the cruise completely just press the brake slightly and the cars speed will be under your control again. Check the clock spring behind steering wheel(have to pull wheel). I had a problem with the horns and C/C not working. Found that one mounting pin was cracked, causing erratic horn operation and no cruise control. Make sure road wheels are straight forward before removing/replacing spring.
Norwegian Cruise line has a longstanding reputation of providing quality cruises with many repeat customers returning to cruise with them again.
The birth control pill is out of your system within days, but you may have some hormonal-related symptoms as you begin to ovulate again after stopping.
Replace the cruise control deactivater switch which simply screws into the top of the master brake cylinder. Costs less than $20 and everything will run properly again! there is no deactivater switch on the master brake cylinder on a 2003 ford f-250
