You may have a bad master cylinder, or proportioning valve,Does the vehicle have Antilock Brakes (ABS) ? Please let me know.Ben
antilock brakes could lock up on any vehicle for various reasons. for ex, a wheel sensor/trigger wheel is dirty(mud) and the sensor can pick up the signal, the computer will not activate the antilock feature.if the antilock light is lighted on the dash the wheels will lock.
Antilock brakes do not increase the braking force.
breaking stability
The brakes can be bled like any other vehicle, with the bleeder valves at the wheels. There is no need for a scan tool.
press down firmly on the brake pedal and keep holding down the brake pedal
Keeping the brakes from locking up will allow you to steer out of a situation.
Not that I have ever heard in any vehicle. They will however chatter when engaged.
