I guess you are talking about the main cap bolts that hold the crankshaft in the block, If so then you either have the wrong bearings. are the main caps are in the wrong place. ( The main caps will ONLY go in a certain place on the block ) and no other place.
Are you have them turned around. The main caps are marked from the factory 1-2-3 and the rear one will only go in 1 place and that's # 4 There is an arrow stamped on the top of them and it must point towards the front of the engine.
The Torque specs for a 1992 Jeep Crank with bearing caps is 80 ft./bls. You will need to check your chiltons.

It depends on the brand of the rod bolts, but usually 45-50 ft/lbs.
