because we are forced to use cheap grade watered down gasoline at $4.00 a gallon.. garbage gas
Hi wondering why my 2003 Chevy trailblazer bogs down when you push the gas.
Dirty fuel filter.
Check the fuel pressure.
Your Timing is not lined up properly and/or re-jet your carb.
If it's in the right gear, it sounds like a timing problem.
Start by checking the fuel pressure.
Fuel Pump! That's what happened to mine.
It's possible the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor is not functioning properly. As you give it gas the MAF should open the throttle body and allow a proper mixture of air/gas. If one component is not working right then it is concievable that you could be "flooding" the engine enough for it to bog down, but once you start moving you escape a complete stall. There are many components that might be involved (O2 sensor, air temp sensor could be bad). For expert opinion check out the Rev! 190revolution.net
ya i have a 3.1 v6 dose the samething i cant figure it out
Answer The air flow sensor send air to the various parts of an engine so that the engine doesn't bog down, doesn't burn black like a diesel engine. Gas engines are supposed to run smoothly and the exhaust pipe be a grayish color. The air flow sensor makes all this happen.
A common problem with Briggs or any other lawn mower is vapor lock or insufficient oxygen. When the engine begins to bog down or become unstable, try loosening the gas cap to see if it will stabilize. If it does, then it means the gas-cap vent is clogged up or needs replacing.
It could be watered down gas. It could be watered down gas. It could be watered down gas.
