because there isn't enough fuel to keep it pumping, your body needs energy to do everything it does. if you stopped eating you would be missing out on vital carbohydrates, causing a loss of energy. by the time your heart fails from starvation you would probably not be able to walk more than a few steps.
your heart starts to fail and you can go to the hospital if it goes on for to long
yes
It failed partly because of the "starving time."
The Heart. Because the heart supplies blood to the rest of the organs without it the other organs would fail
Well yeah. Of course your body should last about 4-6 weeks.
Yes.
Starving is not good for your body, it deprives yourself of the energy and nutrients you need to remain healthy and well.
Your cardiovascular system (with the heart organ) and your brain. If you fail to have either one working you will die. You can live without some organs but never the heart or brain. That is why we have organ donations for most organs but not the brain. The brain cannot as yet, be fully and properly transplanted. If you are declared brain dead the nervous system will be gone and cannot keep your body functioning without artificial means. If your heart fails, oxygen will fail to reach the body and the body dies. If you get a good, viable heart transplant you could live for many years as long as your body does not reject it. Therefore they are the most priceless parts of our bodies.
If you have a bad heart, and are stressed out enough about it, that could happen.
Yes, it effects the whole body.
Chances are you will not lose weight because your body will try to preserve the body fat that you already have. weight loss in the begining, but when you start eating again your body tells it self to hold on to it more.
studies show starving yourself does not help one lose body fat. some experiments concluded an increase of body fat after self starvation. a more effective and healthy way is through excercise and dieting
