will you probably have a bad transmission take it to a shop and check it out. Mine is having the same problem. First I'm going to change the Transmission Fluid. It could be dirty. The transmission has a filter, which is just a metal screen, but this is not servicable without removing the transmission which could break the bank and is almost certainly not the problem. I will take mine to the Honda dealer to change the fluid as Honda has a special kind of Automatic Transmission Fluid for it's vehicles and I've read that any other type of fluid may damage the tranny. If this doesn't solve the problem it could be a bad connection with one of the transmission control solinoids, something as simple as crud in the wrond place or carbon collected on the contacts. If the dealership transmission flush/change doesn't fix the problem I'm going to investigate using the "Transmission Control Module" or TCM(the computer that monitors the transmission) using the "service check connector", located under the kick panel to the right of the passengers right foot, and a paperclip. That should give you some leads.
