well, its usually the case that processed food has a lotof chemicals to make it last longer. these usually are not very healthy and processed ham, for example will have dded salt chemicals and will usually be made of mechanically recovered meat. this meat s the brains, trotters, nasty stuff that has been stabilized with preservatives.
