SUGGESTION: CHECK FOR A PLUGGED "CONDENSATE DRAIN TUBE" SOMEWHERE UNDER THE HOOD; PROBABLY CLOSE TO THE HEATER OR AIR CONDITIONER - YOU HAVE PROBABLY NOTICED CARS ON A HOT DAY DRIPPING WATER UNDER WITH THE A/C RUNNING. THIS IS THE WATER THAT IS DRAINING INSIDE YOUR CAR INSTEAD OF RUNNING OUT THE DRAIN TUBE TO THE GROUND. IF YOU LIVE OR PARK IN AN AREA WHERE THERE ARE SMALL TREE LEAVES OR SEEDS DROPPING, THEY CAN ENTER THE HEATER/AIR CONDITIONER'S FRESH AIR INTAKE AND SETTLE ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PLENUM, EVENTUALLY COVERING THE HOLE LEADING TO THE OUTSIDE DRAIN. SAME AS A PLUGGED DOWNPIPE ON HOUSE ROOF GUTTERS. HINT TO FIND THE DRAIN TUBE - TURN ON THE HEATER/AIR FAN WITHOUT ENGINE RUNNING (SO YOU CAN HEAR IT). WITH IT RUNNING, LISTEN UNDER THE HOOD FOR ITS SOUND. THE DRAIN TUBE YOU ARE SEEKING WILL BE SOMEWHERE NEAR AND BELOW THIS AREA; THERE IS A CHANCE YOU CAN CLEAR THE OBSTRUCTION BY BLOWING BACKWARD THRU THE OPEN END OF THE TUBE. CANNOT GUESS WHAT'S ON YOUR CAR BUT USUALLY THESE TUBES ARE APPROXIMATELY 3/4" DIAMETER, 2 - 6" LONG POINTING STRAIGHT DOWN.
Assuming there's nothing wrong with the car, then the water drip is caused by condensation from your air conditioner.
It is the water from the radiator, it is just a normal function of the car. It could also be condensation from the air conditioner, another normal function if the ac has been running.
It could be from condensation from the air conditioner if it`s summertime. If it`s winter, take your car in for an inspection.
that is because of the vibrator and you ll notice that water will increasein the high humidity. and it is a sign of a good a/c you have ( cool )Answerthe water is actually condensed frozen water, frozon by the air conditioning system Answerit isn't water its air conditioning fluid that leaks from the air conditioner and creates condesation on the pipes which then drip what appears to be water on the ground
air conditioner condensation drips
no
I think my puppy drank water from car leaking from air condition
most likely it is water coming from the air-conditioner unit. this water comes from the air that is cooled by the air-conditioner. the water is supposed to drain from the car when the car is level. OR, if the liquid is coloured it is from the engines cooling system. this means you have a leak and it is catching somewhere. when you reverse it runs out of the catchment.
how do you know if the air conditioner in your car works in the winter
An air conditioner in a car uses quite a bit of power. It is not unusual for a car to hesitate when the AC comes on.
fair chance the drain hose for the a/c has come out of where it is supposed to plug in.
You will use more gas when your air conditioner is running.
