CHECK YOUR FUEL PUMP RELAY! One posibility is you need a better ground from your altanator to your regulator. Add a ground wire from the altanator to your regulator it cheap and eazy to do. It fixed a problem I had that when I turned on the head lights with the engine running the engine died. Bad ground do many bad things that are hard to identify.
