check engine temperature sensor There cheap and if yours is weak or bad Computer tells engine wrong signal
they are fuel injected.
Yes.
no it had a computer controled quadajet
Anything after about 1991 is fuel injected. However, you can enter your VIN number into google, and click on a website that has the information for that truck, and it should tell you the type of fuel injection that it has. For example, I have a 1994 Cheyenne 5.0L TBI. This means that it is THROTTLE BODY INJECTED. Yours should be similar.
If it is carburated itis in the inlet nut of the carb. If injected it is inline.
The fuel pump is kaput.
if it has fuel injection the filter will inside the frame rail on the drivers side right below the cab if it is carburated it will be next to the front passengers side of the engine
That truck has throttle body fuel injection. There is no choke.
No the 2.8 has a Throttlebody fuel injected motor. The Throttlebody does look like a carburator, but it does have injectors.
what would cause a oil pressure gauge to fluctuate on my 99 Chevy truck silverado i change the sending unit it does it mostly after it warmed up
my truck was doing the same thing before i had the choke set right, because it was partially closed, making it flood out and run rich
I guess there is no such thing as a dumb question... Yes every fullsize gas GM truck after '87 was FI.
