Why does your Xbox 360 keep disconnecting from Xbox live it still shows me as signed in but everything is slow and i cant join parties and sessions?

There are a few things that could be doing that. 1. you have a modem/router has more than ethernet port and you are on live and someone is on the internet on the computer. 2.The connection between the modem and router arnt very good. 3.X-box live has be playing up recently and they are currently fixing it. 4.Your x-box is busted.
