It takes a little time for the vacuum to actuate the switch; especially if things are binding or if there is a vacuum loss.

Check the fuse and relay to start. If these are ok, then check the blower switch, the resister, then the blower motor itself.

Blower doesn't work on 1994 gmc sierra. Where do I start to try to fix it?

Start by checking the fuse. If the fuse is good, apply 12 volts directly to the blower motor. If the motor runs it is good. Check all the wiring for loose or burnt wires. If all this checks out, then the Blower Motor Resistor Pack may be defective, or the blower motor speed switch itself.Start by checking the fuse. Where is AC Blower relay located?

Check behind the glovebox. You will need to pinch the sides of the glovebox to drop it down. Good luck. I just tried the above and it took me 30 seconds and ac was working again. Thanks It is a common problem on Mark VIII'S to have a loose connection at the power connector to the blower motor. If your blower motor does not run and the fuse is OK or has been replaced, fold down the glove box as in previous message. The blower motor will be faceing you,it looks like the top of a can with 2 wires coming out of it. Jiggle these wires with the blower motor on, most likly, low and behold, the motor will start up. It's a Ford thing.

If the blower motor quits working after an extended period of time and then afterwards start working again work could the problem be the blower motor resistor?

You turned off your car with the air conditon on when you restarted the car the air condition was not blowing at all what maybe the problem?

check blower motor fuses and if Ok GENTLY tap blower motor with a/c turned on should start back up if so it indicates a bad armature in the blower motor and is due for replacement soon, if it does not start back up, it means either a short has occurred in the wiring or it is a dead blower motor

Why does Oldsmobile Intrigue blower run only on high speed?

because the blower motor is no good, for some reason it get damp in the blower motor chamber, and slowly the speeds start to go one by one until you just have high.

If when changing a blower motor on an 1988 Ford F150 the blower still does not blow and the fuse has been changed what could be the problem?

Check the blower motor resistor/relay pack usually under the hood connected to the blower motor. You can start by using a multimeter and see if you are getting voltage to the blower motor electrical connector. It should read between 12 and 15v. If not then most likely the resistor/relay need to be replaced.

2004 Chevy truck truck blower motor repair?

You gotta start by figuring out what's wrong with it. You need to determine if it's the blower motor itself, or the power supply, then troubleshoot to determine the exact cause.

On gasoline powered when should the blower be operated?

The blower should be operated a few minutes before you start the motor to vent gas fumes from engine compartment.
