wheel hub
The "awful grinding sound" might be a problem with your power steering
wheel barings
Have your brakes checked, rust or wear on brakes can cause grinding when turning.
Could be a bad wheel bearing.
Front left and right wheel bearings going bad make grinding and crackling sound especially when you turn left or right. When they start going bad, the issue will grow worse very quickly. Time is not on your side with this. A few hundred dollar fix can turn much more expensive if left unattended.
If you vehicle is front-wheel drive, more than likely, that grinding crunching sound when you turn is coming from the CV joints.
I would guess that it is the wheel bearing. is it a grumbling sound or an all out grinding? If it is or was a grumbling sound and has turned into a grinding it is probably the wheel bearing.
because it is trying to ignight the gasoline the grinding is the spark plug sparking because it is trying to ignight the gasoline the grinding is the spark plug sparking
Had same problem with mine, if you turn right and it grinds, the left hub bearing is going out and vice versa. The weight of the truck is placed on the bad bearing the opposite way you turn. Should sound like a grind but it is a consistent "noise""quiet""noise""quiet".
There is a good chance your rotors have been worn too thin, which in turn causes the crunching/grinding sound when stopping
start by checking wheel bearings. not enough info for a good diag.
sounds transmission related or possable flywheel related That would be the power headlight motor!!
