Check for a serious exhaust leak if this sound occurs on rapid acceletation.
Squealing also occurs in Power Steering if it is low on fluid and you are cornering. Another squeal is a slipping fan belt ... get it checked out soon as it will only get worse and probably cost more later for repairs than for a simpler repair right now.
Sounds like the timing is out of adjustment, perhaps timing chain has jumped
you have a bad belt in you engine you to have it replaced or if it isn't to bad you can use some belt sqeal stopper you can get from most auto stores
some times it will sqeal, but most of the time the battery will not stay charged.... take your car to a discount parts dealer that will check your "alternator output" for FREE!!!! most places that sell alt. will check them for free, just drive car there and they will come out and test it while it is in the car. you do not have to remove it from your car!!!!! also you can disconnect battery while car is running ...and if the car turns off or runs poorly after disconnecting battery, then that means the alternator is going bad. but have it check first before buying new one....GOOD LUCK
because they are scared and want you to back off for a while and let them settle.it is best if you give them a treat when they let you hold them then yours will actually come to you when you put your hand in!.
Did you check your drive belts. If they are loose they will slip and give off a high pitched sqeal.
You should check the tension on the belts on ur engine. If they don't hve enough tension, the belts will squeal when running accesories such as the heater since it draws alot of power.
Answerit could be because the belt is a cheap after market brand that some times makes the belts a little smaller or bigger then OE parts (orginal equitment) put a little oil on it when it is running if the sound goes away then take the belt back if the sound doesn't go away then it isn't coming from the beltyou need a new belt tensioner i have a car like that
do can car by can how car do or do can on car
The sqeal is probably your fan belt on the alternator cos when the engine turns over the alternator needs to be pulled round and the initial inertia causes more power and friction on the belt, solution = tighten belt or put a small amount of release oil on pulley(not recommended due to fire risk) or change belt. The starter motor is connected to the engine by a gear if this is the source then expert help is needed.
