my headlights work. but if yours don't, you should see if the socket is getting power with a multimeter. if you don't have a multimeter, just try replacing the bulb. if that doesn't fix it, you should check fuses, relays, and switches. Or just take the car to a mechanic.
Yes, it does have reverse gear. However, if it does not work then the most likely cause is that the switch for it is broken. It is a considerable job to get it replaced.
battery is weak or the solenoid for the shift is bad
You Have a bad headlight, it's common when a headlight burns out for only the high beam to work, solution change your headlight.
Burnt out or loosely connected bulb.
Start with a huge hammer, if that doesn't work get a pair of pliers and a blowtorch.
Bulbs burned out? Headlight switch bad? Relay?
try taking the cover off and taking the old bulb out... might work................
It will need to be re-programmed but, yes, it should.
First check bulb, if good, must be in the switch. Bad contact. Open it up and clean the contacts. The headlight circuit on these bikes goes through the starter switch as well. If part of that switch goes bad the headlight will not work.
Unscrew the phillips head bolt at the bottom of the headlight. Remove the chrome surround. Then you can either undo the clip on the wires and take the unit to a work bench or you can do it in place. Remove the 3 springs then lift the bulb out of the headlight shell. Pull the bulb out of the socket and reverse the procedure.
