I had this problem, you have to replace the indicator arm, switch. Look for one on e bay as they are expensive. Easy job to do, steering wheel off. unplug the wires and remove unit , two screws.

A fast paced dashboard indicator light usually means that there is a failed bulb somewhere on that circuit. Check all the bulbs including side markers and mirror lights if equipped on that circuit (left/right).
You may have a "ground loop" problem on the left turn signal. Check the ground wire at the front and rear signal bulbs.
The turn signal and brake light use the same bulb. When you get a fast flash, it is from a reduced electrical load being placed on the flasher unit due to a burned bulb. Replace the bulb and this should fix your problem.

it should be above the fuseboard behind the light switch. its the green one top left. just changed the relays on my corsa b but mine is a 99 theres one on the opposite side too, take out the glove shelf/box the panel next to the door hides more relays
You have to replace front and rear bulbs.
A turn left or turn right indicator.
Year of vehicle? on a corsa c it will be on the left hand side of the engine next to the water pump, it is contained in an elbow shaped metal pipe.
