Not only does the signals stop working-the brake lights do to. The steering wheel puts a crimp in the wiring somehow and can cause alot of electric problems. I know-it happened to me and I took it to 2 car mechanics and they couldn't find out why. I found out by accident when I moved the steering wheel. I called the mechanic's back and told them. Them were as shocked as I was! Another Ford TRICK to make money off a SERVICE CALL! I have a 2001 Explorer Sprt trac that started having problems with the left turning/stop light, I was about to replace the socket, but after reading the previous statement i went to the truck and move the stering wheel ??? for my surprise, NOW IT WORS... Thanks!!!
