Maybe when new thermostat installed a vacuum hose was disconnected?
Or perhaps a sensor was disconnected and was not noticed. I would do a visual check first looking for Hoses off and unplugged sensors. Then get the car scanned (free at autozone) Is the check engine light on ?
The most likely cause is a warped rotor. It can also be other things so have you brakes and suspension inspected.
Time for new brakes or adjustment.
it broke
Apply the brakes hard and steer out of danger.
Keep the car straight. Ease of gas, do not apply brakes. Let the car slow down until it is almost stopped . Right before your car stops pull of the road and apply brakes.
your car is probably trashy
no, the thermostat would have nothing to do with the car not starting.
The friction caused by the brakes causes the car to decelerate. This negative acceleration, in turn, causes a force to be applied to all those in the car. This is the lurch you feel.
Yes a bad thermostat would cause overheating in any car. A thermostat regulates the temperature.
we have to put the gear to neutral and apply brakes, and start the car.
Not usually. But it will cause it to overheat. What kind of car?
did some one accidentally put the wrong fluid in the master? if so this will cause this problem m,
