Why doesn't Palestine receive the same support from the East as Israel receives from the West?

First, Israel does not receive any special support from the West. And second, it would be strange if the democratic West all of a sudden started to support terrorists of Hamas in Gaza.
On the other hand, bandits of Hamas get a lot of support from Syria, Egypt, and other Muslim Arab countries, as well as from Turkey and Iran. The only explanation I can offer for this fact is that birds of a feather fly together.

Palestine actually does receive almost as much money and direct funds as Israel, if UNRWA and direct PA contributions are counted as well as general funds. The overwhelming majority of civil Palestinian expenditures actually come from Western coffers. The Arab Nations tend to provide funding for the various military apparatuses of Palestine.
As to why the Arabs do not support Palestinian civil development, it might be difficult to justify spending money to build roads and schools in the West Bank and Gaza when they refuse to do the same in their own countries.
