its either unpluged or you need a new one
fix it.
if its clicking then its the horn itself.you can get a horn from auto parts stores.
not having a horn
My mechanic says the horn coil is bad. A $180 part at the dealer.
The horn button contacts on the steering wheel are dirty.
Horn is located in the front right bottom corner almost directly in front of the tire mine was full of mud and didn't work.
First of all is that the 94 suburban has a 4L60E transmission in it. Therefore it will no work in the 87 model.
it depends what is wrong with it....start by figuring that out. It doesnt work. Thats whats wrong with it.
might be a fuse, check the fuse box in the drivers footwell
Could be: Low coolant in the radiator - or - thermostat stuck open - or - heater core plugged.
Many times the horn itself could be bad; if you have power to the horn and no sound, replace the horn. I would get one from a salvage yard for $10-15. Roll down window. Hollar real loud "LOOK OUT!"
pop the hood and in front of the radiator there is a circular device. that is your horn. check the connection of the wire to the receiver on the horn. when that is secure, use a flathead screwdriver to pry the cover off of the steering wheel and check that connection. if those are both secured and horn still doesnt work, check the fuse for your dash.
