Because

The Chinese Crested is known as a hairless breed of dog. Hairless breeds of canines are often owned by people who have allergies to dog dander or those who don't want to have large dogs as pets.
Romeo is a hairless Chinese Crested.

Yes. Hairless breeds of dog, like the Chinese Crested, are more prone to acne than dogs with fur.
There are hairless dogs around which you can get. Chinese crested dogs and Xolo dogs are some examples. But surprisingly poodle and Maltese owners claim they do not moult much!
Yes. Just like human skin, too much sun exposure and a hairless dog can get sunburned.
The Chinese Crested may be hairless but they are very good pets. They are small dogs but a little bigger than Chihuahas. The Chinese Crested amount of hair ranges though and the do develop lion like maines. But thid breed of dog has a histary of having a lot of skin problems.
Get a fish or tell your parents that you will keep the dog in your room. You can get a chihuahua or beagle (those dogs don't shed a ton). Hairless dogs, cats, rodents, and other hairless pets (other than fish, birds, and lizards) are really gross (I mean hairless cats, EW! I really love dogs too! I LOVE chihuauas they are so cute!! Poodles are also good for people with allergies. If you have a little brother or sister I would recomend that you got the Standard poodle. They are the best with kids! To add on to that, here is a list of hypoallergenic dogs (dogs that are considered good for allergy sufferers): No dog is completely hypoallergenic, but these dogs shed less and carry less allergins in their fur. Also, consider Chinese Crested crossbreeds - Chinese crested dogs are partly hairless dogs and are usually good for allergy sufferers when crossed with other dogs; and that way, the dog isn't hairless if you are not keen on hairless dogs. I have asthma and an allergy to dogs, and I get on well with Chinese crested crossbreeds and poodles (my friend has some). Move out, get your own place and THEN get pet(s) of YOUR choice.
Try a hairless breed: Hairless Khala. (medium-large) Peruvian Inca Orchid. Peruvian Hairless Dog. (not mottled like its cousin) Xolo./Mexican Hairless. (toy-miniature-standard) Chinese Crested. (hairless version) American Hairless Terrier. Ecuadorian Hairless Dog. Manchurian Hairless Dog.

You are probably thinking of the Chinese Crested or the Xolo...which is the Mexican hairless dog, but usually, both of those are larger than a chihuahua.
