Why don't we love Ourselves?

There are endless reasons.

Maybe you feel that loving yourself is a crime. Maybe throuout the years, you've been loving yourself and it brought you nothing but bad luck.

Maybe you're not happy with yourself. You might feel casual. But not like a winner. And that is at times just NOT good enough. And even though you have 9 stars out of 10. You're just not happy with yourself.

At times it happens that our feelings are playing games with us.

At times it even happens that our dreams are playing games with us.

Showing us the wrong things. Confusing us into not loving ourselves.

So.. 'Why don't we love Ourselves?'.

Perhaps we are 'happy' with ourselves. We think things through and come up with reasons for why we should be happy. - Following this, we wonder why it still just can't satisfy us?

Maybe we did something we can't forgive ourselves. Maybe because other people like you, but don't love you. - It makes you want to like yourself. But not love yourself. And instead we love others. Because that's what other people do. They like you. But they don't love you.

Some people don't get the love from their parents when they were young. How are you supposed to know how to love the 'you' that nobody else loves.

You need people. To love you. And you'll love yourself.

You can whatsoever a contribution to earth. But if nobody loves you for that. You will never know if it was worth it.

What we need, are people to show us, inspire us and courage us to love ourselves.

Materials don't do - Works don't do - Lover others don't make them love you back. We all know it. But we all have to hang on.

If we ever should find the love towards ourselves, we should focus on how precious this feeling is, so that we know - what we are spending our time searching for.
