Canada is cold only in the winter. However, Canada is cold because of its northern latitude. The only places in Canada that are cold year round are the northern territories. Summers in southern Canada can be as high as 80 degrees. Fall in Canada is fairly cool. Ignore the stereotype that Canada is freezing cold year round. It only applies to areas near the Arctic Circle or Nunavut.
Because parts of Canada are farther from the equator then parts of the US, but note that most of the population of Canada has a climate about the same as the Northern US states, and the southern tip of Ontario is at the same latitude ( distance from the equator) as Northern California.
But Canada is the colder than USA because we are northern but Alaska could be colder than some places in Canada like were i am living in ( Northern Ontario). But still Canada is colder Canada is the first coldest country or Second. But of course Antarctica is colder than any other country in the world.
It is not Always cold in Canada is has medium hot weather in summer and extreme cold in winter. It is cold because we are so close to the north pole and have the Waters cooling winds from every direction except south.
The general climate of a region (such as Canada or Mexico) is determined by the way the sun's light hits the Earth.
The earth is round, so sunlight hits the equator fairly straight making it very hot, and the light hits the poles at a very low angle, not giving them as much heat, making them cold.
Mexico is closer to the equator than Canada so sunlight hits Mexico ore directly making it warmer than Canada.
Certain areas of Canada are cold, and in general, yes. Canada is quite cold. But there are colder places. Canada can be very warm as well. It can get up to thirty to forty degrees (Celsius) in the summer.
it's not always cold. the temperature is based upon the location, the weather, and the time of the year.
Because the Gulf Stream brings warm water from the Caribbean to the ocean around Norway.
It is further north.
Not all of Canada has bad weather.
On average, Canada is considerably colder than the US, although there are wide regional variations. Alaska and parts of the northeastern US are significantly colder than some southern parts of Canada. But Canada has a colder climate than the United States.
Technically Russia and Canada border in the Arctic, but Canada has the North Pole so maybe Canada. But realistically, these are the two largest countries in the world so it's rather difficult to make a general statement that one is colder then the other. There are parts of Canada that are colder then parts of Russia and there are parts of Russia that are colder then Canada. But then the same can be said about parts of the USA being colder then parts of Canada (and I'm not just talking about Alaska). Like some places in the northern part of the US is colder than the Southern parts of Canada. But really Canada is colder than USA overall.
Yes Canada and Russia are much colder than the UK but the reason why is not because it is. The reason why is that usually the northern parts of the world are the coldest except for Antarctica ( of course coldest place in the world). And if you look at a map of the world Russia and Canada are northern then the UK. Mostly what are the coldest placest in the world are Canada, Russia, Sweden, Antarctica , Norway, Iceland and Greenland with Alaska are the coldest place. So there for this is why Canada and Russia are colder than the UK because it is northern and we get more colder weather than the UK. ( I know this because i am Canadian.
The Jet Stream is still at it's normal height but is lower in latitude which is giving us a cooler and colder winter than if was higher and allowing warm air to reach more parts of Canada.
In terms of Area Canada is larger than the US. Consult any Atlas.

Canada is usally much colder because its more north than the US

In some parts that is so, but not everywhere. Don't forget Canada is a vast area.
Canada is colder.
Certain parts of Canada are warmer than Hungary and some are colder. It all depends on the seasons.
no
Yes
yes
Probably because it's farther north.
Antarctica is colder and dryer than here in Canada Eh!
Yes at times parts of Canada have become colder than the North Pole. Winnipeg in particular at times has reached the coldest place on earth.
