In the book (The Once And Future King) they called him Wart or Art befor he was king. It is likely he was called Artorius when he lived.

I believe you must mean who is the person who pulled the sword out of the stone. I think it's the little green guy you play as in The Legend of Zelda: 25th aniversary edition.
