The Mauryan Empire was founded in 322 BCE by one Chandragupta Maurya. He founded the empire after overthrowing the Nanda Dynasty. He then expanded his empire to the western India.

They created central and united government, they had string army, great territorial expansion through the subcontinent, and Kautilya and the Arthashastra exist at that empire.
