Hello Mate
The wireless area network symbol only shows you that you are connected to your router what you could do is check to make sure your router can access the internet if not then try turning your router off for 20 minutes it must stay off for the whole 230 minutes or this will not work, the reason i say that is because you are telling the exchange server to assign you a new ip address which in turn will speed your Internet up a slight amount and even allow you access.
I hope this helps dude
if it doesn't work email me at harryb125@hotmail.com and i will help you even more.
Cheers
BTW my name is Harry .
WiFi ready just means you have a wireless card you need an internet connected wireless network available to access the internet.

You need to make sure that your new computer has a wireless adapter, or it's connect to the router with a lan cable.' If your computer does have a wireless adapter, make sure that it's on, and its settings are default. If you have firewall make sure that it does allow required network activity. If you are using a hidden type of router, you need to make sure that your wireless adapter is configured properly.
you cant switch your iternet cables back and forth between a ps3 and a computer. while its in private network mode. They slow down the Internet. Although if the service quality (eg, boxpn.com), then he has a lot of servers and almost no speed drops.
Take out your wireless network(if u got one)and conect the adapter, select log in to xbox live,it will say that u cant conect, then select test connection it will start to scan for wireless networks
You might not have a enough bandwidth or your network isp only allows 1 computer at a time
you cant play mw2 on psp or psp go even if you have wireless network on it because they dont sell the game for that
There are multiple reasons for that. If you are sure that the device is functioning properly you might have two problems. First one is you are out of range. And second one is your network is configured not to broadcast the ssid.
Sorry but you cant "impossible"
you cant
