Best Answer

When the verb takes the action from the subject (the doer) and passes on to the object (the receiver), the verb is said to be in Active voice.
I helped my friend.

When the subject receives the action, the subject is the receiver of the action, the verb is said to be in Passive Voice.
My friend was helped (by me).

It better to use active voice if the Doer of the action is known or mentioned. Passive Voice should only be used when it is necessary.

Active Voice is better because it is direct, simple, clear and easily understandable without doing any mental exercise.

Active voice is generally preferred because it is more direct, clearer, and usually more engaging for the reader. It puts the focus on the subject performing the action, leading to stronger, more dynamic sentences.
