Mostly the invertebrates and insects possesses white greenish blood called haemolymph whereas the colour of man's blood is red due to erythrocytes or RBCs.There fore we can say that cockroach has no blood but haemolymph. Azhar Khan azhar_saeed39@Yahoo.com
Insect blood is not used to carry oxygen around their bodies like how it does in a human. While it can help carry it, it mostly transports nutrients and waste. As they lack red blood cells, their blood can appear colourless, white, pale yellow, or even green.
A mosquito is no different but people can mistake it for having red blood because it feeds on red blood and has it stored inside its body for digestion.
Why is the blood of a cockroach is white and man has red?
as they don't have any colouring pigment and r unicellular
Red blood cells contain hemoglobin, but white blood cells do not
Red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and liquid plasma.Red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets and liquid plasma.
i dont think they do, i think it is just white blood cells
White blood cells have a nucleus and red blood cells don't.
White blood cells have a nucleus and red blood cells don't.
If a mosquito has recently had a feed then it will be full of somebody's blood, that is what you see when you squash the mosquito, blood.
yes they do but it is not the color of red it can be brown , green and yellow
Cockroach blood contains no red blood cells to transport oxygen because its respiratory system is open. This means that roach blood is pale yellow or colorless.
If you mean why isn't a cockroaches blood red, it is because they do not use hemoglobin to carry the oxygen in their blood. Hemoglobin is what causes blood to be red.
Insects and invertebrates like them do not have any red blood cells in their blood. That is why it does not have a red color.
Cockroaches have blood, and are COLD-blooded creatures. Cockroach blood is not red because they do not use hemoglobin to carry oxygen. In fact their bloodstream is not used to carry oxygen either. They use a system of pipes called tracheae to bring the oxygen and remove carbon dioxide from their tissues. As a result other factors determine the blood color. Male cockroaches have relatively colorless blood. Larval females have colorless blood. Only adult females which are producing eggs have a slightly orange blood because of the protein vitellogenin which is made in the cockroach liver (its fat body) and transported through the blood to the ovary. This protein like chicken yolk is orange because it carries a carotenoid, which is a vitamin A like molecule needed by embryos to develop normally.
Technically all of them. Genes are found in almost every cell's nucleus and are made from strands of DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). A mosquito drinks your blood which is made of red and white blood cells.
red blood cells are red and white blood cells are white
Red-blood, white-surrender red over white is blood before surrender
The white blood cell has nucleus that red blood cell does not
Red blood cells contain hemoglobin, but white blood cells do not
It's kinda red brown and it's a little bit transparent
