∙ 2006-06-23 01:35:10The clutch fluid may be low. While facing the car, look for a reservoir in the upper right portion of the engine bay. Check the fluid level. If it is low, add DOT 3 or 4 brake fluid, then pull the clutch pedal up and try to press back down. If it falls to floor again, repeat the same process two or three times. If the clutch fluid reservoir is completely empty, you WILL need to bleed the clutch after adding fluid.

It proabaly has a bad ground.
The clutch is wired with a hot from the battery at all times and requires a ground from the switch to engage. Check for a bad ground wire to the clutch or a bad ground connection.

It has a self adjusting clutch so all you need to do is get in the car lift the clutch pedal up as far as it will go (towards the dash) and then push it all the way to the ground and the clutch will adjust itself! Good Luck!
You can check it by connecting one wire from the coil to any ground and one wire from the coil to 12 volts, the clutch coil will energize and pull the front hub to the clutch surface.........
