There is no set in stone fact or answer to how long you must wait between eating and exercise. However, it is a good guideline for how long. It typically depends on the person. I, myself, have to wait AT LEAST an hour or i will get sick or a side ache. It all depends on you. If you can workout or run right after you eat, it's actually even better! you will end up burning more calories and reducing the time for the food to convert to fat cells and end up halting the process. to loose fat by eating you need to eat at least 5 fruit and veg a day and drink at least 8 glasses of water to keep your body hydrated and don't forget the exercise needed to keep your body fit and toned GOOD LUCK :)

If you starve yourself, and go back to eating, you will never go back to eating properly, because of the phyciatric problems you would have. But possible if you develop good eating patterns along with exercise, you will have a good feeling and will Not gain any exess weight if you do it properly.
