There is no set in stone fact or answer to how long you must wait between eating and exercise. However, it is a good guideline for how long. It typically depends on the person. I, myself, have to wait AT LEAST an hour or i will get sick or a side ache. It all depends on you. If you can workout or run right after you eat, it's actually even better! you will end up burning more calories and reducing the time for the food to convert to fat cells and end up halting the process. (:
