It's a very common issue for the Rebels. Easiest way is to kill the engine while in 2nd gear, let out the clutch lever and tap the shifter into neutral.
your transmission is going out
When not used, they do get stuck and hard to shift. I had this with my 93. I put it in neutral and forced it into 4 wheel low. After it went, it is now easier to shift into.
you have to put your foot on the break pedal, to shift out of park its a safety feature
A hard shift from first gear to second gear in the Honda Accord could be because of a linkage problem with the transmission. It could also be a problem with the transmission screen needing to be cleaned or low transmission fluid.
Nothing as they are traditionally hard to start. Make sure you have the bike in neutral before attempting as that does make it easier. Type your answer here...
Hey K==It will start grinding in reverse and hard to shift in foreward gears. GoodluckJoe
Absolutely use nothing but Honda ATF-Z1. Do not use any substitute as your transmission will shift hard. You can buy it at your Honda dealer. I know, it cost more. Well what does a transmission rebuild cost?
Not that hard I learned in 15 minutes. Clutch shift.......
YES
Backwards to the current standard. Neutral then down for 1 down for two etc. It was my first bike and I had a hard time learning my second.
Because to press a button to shift a button is like pressing shift to press hard.
When its cold the oil gets extremely thick and is alittle hard to shift. Just let the car warm up for about 15mins and it should be easier
