Why is it when you start my computer up it freezes and you don't get the start up tool-bar?

This indicates a problem with the explorer program.
To resolve this press Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your keyboard to bring up the Windows Task Manager.
When it appears click File, then New Task (Run...)and type explorer and click OK.
