on your trailblazer dose it have touch button 4x4 if so have a look at the side of trany there mit be a motor there under a side cover that you have to replace or the switch it self has to be replaced
It was in front of the fuel tank up to 2004. On Later models it was placed inside the tank. I know, that sucks!
If your Trailblazer is a 4x4 the switch should be to the left of the radio on the dash.
The dashboard switch to the lower right side of the stearing column. If it's not there then you do not have 4WD.
Somebody on our enthusiasts forum has replaced this recently and may be able to post pics to help you out www.trailvoy.com Trailblazer enthusiasts forum!
Try resetting the computer first, you do this by disconnecting the battery for 5 min and then reconnecting it. You may want to check the fuse for the 4 wheel drive first.
I got one on Ebay.com
when you put drive chevy blazer 2002 ls 4wd it turns off, what's the problem
Someone on our enthusiasts forum can give you an answer if you post the question and give them a few more details. 2WD or 4WD etc. Many members have Chiltons or factory repair manuals. www.trailvoy.com
You don't. The system relies on an electric switch that must function properly in order to engage 4WD (and return to 2WD when desired). First, check the fuses. It could be as simple as that.
All the newer Trailblazers like your 2005 take 7 quarts. That is with a new oil filter.
under the battery, remove the battery and battery tray
This would be the same procedure as any other front disc set-up. If you don't know what you are doing then take it to a shop.
