Yes, if you have ever eaten Tuna from a can in the 1970's to the mid 1980's you have probably eaten Dolphin. Even today there are trace amounts of Dolphin in some of the cheaper foreign canned Tuna.

Dolphins are probably tasty enough to eat; however they do not reproduce fast enough for them to be considered a viable food choice. Thus it would be irresponsible to eat them.

Dolphins are protected endangered species and legally you cannot eat dolphin. You can eat dolphin fish, which is called Mahi Mahi.
