In 1930, Pluto was considered to be the ninth planet from the Sun.But, after the discovery of similar worlds deeper in the distant of the Kuiper Belt, icy Pluto was reclassified as a dwarf planet. Which meant that Pluto was demoted (a very controversial decision) and was no longer considered a planet in our solar system, which I think was a shame.
