Why is the president losing popularity?

1. Barack Obama is becoming unpopular because for the Catholics he is not Christian in a sense of legalizing abortion.It is not good to kill babies and it become a business of some. To the couples who followed it they became lustful. They lacked of discipline on themselves.
2. Although, in early 2012, his popularity is rising quickly and is enjoying some of the best citizen satisfaction polls of most recent Presidents. Some of his "unpopularity" is being generated by misinformation about the facts of his accomplishments. See the related questions below.
3. At first his democratic base was unhappy because he seemed to be compromising too much on the main issues important to them and not standing up to an obstructionist Congress.

All presidents tend to start their term quite popular, and over time will fall in popularity. Now that Obama is in office and making decisions, there are lots of people who disagree with his decisions and who expected him to make different decisions when they voted for him. This was pretty much inevitable. Reality is almost always a disappointment compared to what we imagine. Well, first of all he wants to enhance everything and every program of the United States. What he does not realize is that the US is in a deficit of 10 trillion dollars which cannot be paid off by the President himself. He wants to make a better educational system, have better security, and free health care. The social security benefits are not doing too well.

mostly hes trying to make everything more government controlled. people see this as cummunistic and so he is seen as unpopular. also he prolly promised things he hasn't fulfilled yet (but that's just politics)

The economy seems to be the most common cause for lack of popularity. As long as the people feel that their job is secure or their business is making money, they tend to like the President.
