There is something wrong with your wheels or steering. You car is NOT safe to drive.
Power Steering?
u joint
Clunking/knocking sound felt though steering wheel and floor when turning and going over bumps at low speeds.
It will but not as effectively.
Make sure the Rack & Pinion assembly bolts have not come loose. Also check the linkage from the steering column to the rack.
I don't know, but I have the same problem with my 2011 Sentra. :(
It sounds like the inner steering shaft. I had the same problem on a 1997 Dodge Ram.
The knocking noise could be one of several things. The wheel bearing, a worn steering or suspension part, or road debris could be causing the noise.
When CV joints start to go bad, they make a knocking sound when you turn the steering wheel - you might want to get them checked out before getting stranded somewhere.
probably a universal joint. Or a cv joint depending on what is applicable to your car
The power steering pump pulley nut is loose. Or the power steering pump bearing is bad. On my 1998 it was just the loose nut.
