Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler the Anime first premiered in Japan in October 2008. Since then Season 1 has been fully released, along with Season 2, 7 OVAs, and 2 Stage Musicals. There is at present no word of whether or not there will be a 3rd Season of the Anime, but fans are ever hopeful. So I would like to believe that the Anime is ongoing as well.

At this time only 'His Buter: Performer' is available in English Dub. However Funimation did gain the rights to: Ciel in Wonderland; part 1 and 2, Welcome To The Phantomhive's, The Making of Kuroshitsuji II, and the Tale of Will the Shinigami. Black Butler Season 2 will be released on DVD with English Dubs on April 3rd, 2012. So, one can only hope that at least one or more of the OVAs will be included with it; or at least will be released on their own soon to follow. However, they still do not have the rights to The Spiders Intentions OVA.

(im a different person) on the contrary, there is another season. i have a friend who has seen the first five episodes, and they are still making more. funimation should have them up in youtube soon. and if you have seen the 25th episode in the first season, after the credits it has the trailer for the so called new series called "black sushi chef" apparently THAT is the third season. I still have yet to find the website that has it! :) -oh and that season still has all the same characters in it :) [different person] wrong. that is not another season and there is not one. i feel like if there ever will be, and there are rumors, it will be in yearss. it is an anime so actors dont really age. maybe theyre pick it up in 10 years? i hope? we can wait :P black sushi chef was a spoof commercial 2 minutes long. and the other 5 episodes are OVAs[?] or something, just unrelated episodes that have nothing to do with the story.. ~Another person~ Well, on the last episode of BB2, I was searching through the comments, and a person has said that there WILL be a season 3, but it depends on what the fans say; Continue the series with Sebastian teaching Ciel demon ways?
