Posibly a freeze plug has popped. It is an easy fix if you identify this as the problem. It will look like a circle approximately 1.25" in diameter that is pressed into the block. Go to a local parts store and ask them to give you a location on the freeze plug for your make/model/year and engine displacement. Once you know where it it you can visually inspect the area to identify if it is in fact the freeze plug. Additionally a leak could be originating from the water pump and running back along the engine block. Worst case scenario would be a cracked block or a blown head gasket. Visually inspect the oil by checking the dipstick. If the dipstick is coated in a milky coffee colored or white looking oil.... it will most likely be the head gasket. I say most likely as it could also be an internal crack in the water jacket that is allowing water to pass into the oil, Water will leak from various places for various reasons. One additional possibility is a pin hole in the radiator that will force water to squirt back onto the motor giving the impression that it is leaking from the engine. If you live in Rhode Island I would be glad to help you out, but in the meantime go with the simplest and cheapest diagnosis first until you locate the source of the leak.
Either one of the heater hoses are leaking or you have a freeze plug on the side of the engine leaking.
Look at the oil on the dipstick. If you have antifreeze leaking into the crankcase the oil will be milky.
could be hearer core lines answer antifreeze leak on driver side usually means either head gasket od a freeze plug leaking heater hoses generally go up passenger side
Antifreeze will be leaking in the floorboard on the passenger side, there will be a smell of antifreeze through the vents.
bad hose like a pin hole or bad clamp
if it leaks on left side of engine at hose, could be a bad water pump! on 3.1 engine. if pump is bad it will leak out of releif hole on bottom of pump!
you might have a blown head gasket and the coolant is leaking into the cylender and the engine is burning it.
Antifreeze leaking from the heater core.
leaking heater core or hoses
antifreeze does not enter the engine at any time. locate and follow your radiator hoses and follow then and check for cracks or punctures.
Passenger side floor? Could be leaking heater core
Perhaps water pump is leaking?
