All internal combustion engines produce water as a part of the combustion proses. Before the engine reaches normal operational temperature, that water is sent out the tail pipe with all the other byproducts. Once the engine reaches operating temperature the water is still sent to the tail pipe, but it's so hot it's coming out as steam.
Condensation as mentioned above but if the accord has a catalytic converter water is a by product. If the water is copious then you may have a leaking gasget on the cylinderhead. In this case there would be white steam from the tail pipe.
where is the water pump located on 1997 honda accord
How do you remove a water tube from a Honda accord 91 ex
there is no line comming from the water pump on any 90 s accord u replace the whole pump behind the timing belt
add water or anti-freeze coolant
I would check and make sure that isn't just water. Condensation occurs on the inside of the tailpipe as the vehicle warms up... If you had gasoline coming into your tailpipe you would experience backfiring, extreme backfiring.
There could be a couple of reasons why water is coming from a tailpipe. There could be a blown head gasket on the car or a cracked head. A small amount of moisture is a normal byproduct of the burning of gasoline in the engine.
The water temperature sensor on your 1991 Honda accord, is located on the front of the engine. The sensor is above the water thermostat housing.
