This is a common problem for Chrysler products with A/C evaporator leaks. First step: locate round plastic housing of A/C condensate drain under passenger dash by pulling up carpet. This will be near the floor-firewall angle corner in a vertical orientation. Drill a small hole ( 1/2 to 3/8) in the middle of the housing and get a matching rubber plug to later close this hole. Into the hole insert a long wire such as a coat hanger to dislodge any dirt or road debris. The A/C condensate should drain into the square frame rail on the passenger side of the vehicle, and when in use, cause a puddle of water under that side of the Jeep. After clearing the drain, plug the hole you drilled and perhaps secure the plug with water proof glue.
If this fails (as it did on my Jeep) - take an ample amount of water proof glue/caulk and caulk all around the base of the plastic housing where it mounts on the fire wall. After time the original rubber seal breaks on the A/C condensate drain, and water leaks into the interior. This is a common design flaw with Chrysler.
It may take various caulk applications and test runs with the A/C to determine if the leak is sealed.
Heater core
It sounds like there is water in the door of your Jeep Grand Cherokee because there may be water in the door of your Jeep Grand Cherokee. You can take your car to a mechanic to be sure, and if necessary, to have the door drained.
Antifreeze? Water pump?
If you are sure it is water and not coolant, then the A/C Condenser drain line is stopped up. You will find it near the firewall on the passenger side. Look for a tube under the Jeep. If it is coolant, which will taste sweet, your heater core is leaking and must be replaced.
Water is leaking on passenger side floor board when heat is on
The pipe that runs under the back rear of the passenger side of a 196 Pontiac Grand Am is the water pump. If there is leaking under the passenger side, the first thing to check is the water pump.
The front passenger window will not go down on a 93 Jeep Grand Cherokee if the motor or switch has failed. This is common when water gets inside the motor.
How do I replace water pump on 2004 jeep grand Cherokee
sound's like the heater core is bad or you have a leaky windsheld
Passenger's side? Could be a leaking heater core
have your heater core checked its probually leaking
Water on the floor that is not coming from the heater core is coming either from rain water leaking around a windshield seal or one of the firewall seals where hoses, wires or other components enter from the engine compartment.
