Although the wind does not blow all the time, we know that every year the weather patterns repeat themselves, wind has never failed and will always be there to provide energy. It is produced by the sun's energy acting on the atmosphere, and we do not need to question whether the sun's energy is renewable.

To add to that, wind power is renewable because the wind can never "run out" (and is a product of the Coriolis Effect, caused by the rotation of the earth and heat convection in the atmosphere, both natural phenomenon), so it can constantly be harnessed and used for the generation of electricity
