It's a 4 speed front wheel drive transmission with electronic sensors for shifting.

Depends on if your shifting from 4 Hi or 4 Low to 2 wheel drive. If going from 4 Hi to 2 Hi you can shift it while moving, if going from 4 Low to 2 Hi, you must stop and put it in neutral.
The only known way to put your KIA Sportage car into four wheel drive is shifting into 4 high or 4 low. The corresponding 4 wheel indicator will light up and the wheels will then be engaged, according to what you shifted to.
Electric? Put transmission into neutral prior to shifting into 4wd Low
No. It is 4 wheel drive. When it is not in 4 wheel drive it is rear wheel.
Shift the 4 wheel drive lever into 4 wheel drive.
Have your actuator on the front right axle tube checked
I suppose with money anything is possible but it wouldn't be simple.
If you have a 4-wheel drive car it shouldn't be in 4-wheel drive but if you accidentally or knock it into 4-wheel drive you have a gear leaver like item at the side of your actual gear stick. It will be vibrating a bit but that's perfectly normal. If your 4-wheel stick is up then its in 4-wheel drive but if its down your not in 4-wheel drive.
i have a 2 wheel drive and someone said i can have his 4 wheel drive but drive train is gone can i use mine and make the 4 wheel drive into a 2 wheel drive
The transfer case could have been jammed, such as by shifting int 4WD while wheels were slipping. If a pin bends, it can stick the transfer case in 4WD permanently.
